Wolfberger Alsace Riesling, 2024 vintage, comes from a well-known Alsace house founded in the early twentieth century. Alsace Rieslings differ markedly from German ones: they are dry, denser and more food-friendly. On the nose, white peach, ripe lime and lemon, green apple, with fine floral and mineral nuances. The palate is dry and clean, with expressive acidity, a mineral texture and a bracing finish. Serve at 8–10 °C. It pairs with baked fish, oysters, grilled prawns and scallops, with sushi and sashimi, and with chicken breast or veal in a cream sauce.
