From Yunusabad to C1

The house began in 2019 with a small showroom in Yunusabad — a single counter for people looking in Tashkent for flavours the city did not carry. Five years on it had grown into a business serving the city’s premium sector, and in 2024 the flagship boutique opened at C1.

I have always liked finding rare things you will not meet on an ordinary shelf. That is where all of this started.
Dmitry · founder of BURJUY

Straight from the maker

We work on direct contracts, with no middlemen: years of personal acquaintance connect us to family dairies, meat houses and wine cellars across Europe. Hence the whole point of it — genuine produce, transport conditions actually observed and a clear origin for every item.

Where it comes from

  • Italy
  • Spain
  • France
  • Switzerland
  • Germany
  • Denmark
  • the Netherlands
  • the UAE

The wine list covers the key wine regions of the world.

What makes it to the shelf

The range is put together by the founder: trade fairs, professional tastings, visits to the estates. Whatever appeals is ordered to Tashkent as samples and tasted blind by the whole team — only what survives that table goes on display. Some items are made in limited runs for European restaurants, and nowhere else in Tashkent carries them.

Behind the counter

Six people, each with their own part. The wine list is run by a sommelier: they will match a bottle to your table and explain the choice. Cheese and cured meats are handled by our fromagers and gastronomy specialists: how to keep it, what to cut it with, in what order to serve.

Taste before you buy

Almost anything in the gastronomy display can be tasted right in the showroom. Buying a delicacy blind is a gamble, and we would rather you knew what you were taking home.

The showroom at C1

There is a person behind the counter: they will show you around, let you taste the cheese and suggest what to open with what. Orders placed on the site or in Telegram are collected here too.
