Vía Barrosa Treixadura - Albariño is a dry white from Ribeiro in Galicia, a blend of the region's two leading white varieties. Treixadura provides the aromatic frame, Albariño the saline citrus freshness; an octopus adorns the label. The bouquet is rich and bright: ripe peach, green apple, juicy pineapple flesh and white flowers, alongside grapefruit zest, sea breeze, light minerality and meadow herbs. The palate is broad and juicy, with a silky texture, lively acidity and a long, faintly saline fruit-and-mineral finish. Pairs with Galician-style octopus, oysters, mussels, baked prawns and scallops, with white fish ceviche, roast sea bass and salmon tartare, and with seafood paella and pasta with clams. For cheese, choose young Manchego, burrata or ricotta. Serve at 8–10 °C.
