Tenuta San Marco Rosato Salento is an Italian dry rosé from Salento in Puglia, with an elegant fruit character and Mediterranean freshness. The aroma is bright, fresh and refined, led by ripe redcurrant, raspberry and strawberry with light floral nuances. The taste is harmonious and refreshing, with a pleasant berry acidity and a soft, clean finish. Chill the wine well — to 10–12 °C — so that its freshness and berry bouquet come through. Serve it in a medium-sized white or rosé glass with a tulip bowl that narrows towards the rim and gathers the aroma. It works as an aperitif and on the terrace on a hot day, and at the table it goes with grilled prawns, mussels, squid and baked white fish, Mediterranean salads, fish carpaccio and light vegetable starters, herbed chicken breast and pasta with tomato or a light cream sauce, as well as young soft and goat's cheeses.
