Kingston 62 Jamaica White Rum is a Jamaican white rum from the makers of Appleton Estate — bright, authentic and Caribbean in character. Neat it is drunk with a large cube of ice, which softens its strong character and opens up the tropical notes. White rum is a base for mixology, and in the classics — Mojito, Daiquiri, Cuba Libre — its bright profile is not lost among the other ingredients. It goes with tropical fruit — pineapple, mango, lime — and with light seafood snacks, grilled prawns and spiced meat bites. Serve it neat at around 16–18 °C or over ice; for cocktails take a highball glass, plenty of good ice and a sprig of mint or a wedge of lime.
