Georgian Valleys Tvishi

Description

Georgian Valleys Tvishi is a naturally semi-sweet white from the Racha-Lechkhumi region of Georgia. It is 100% Tsolikouri from the Tvishi microzone, where a cool climate and nearby rivers preserve the balance between natural sweetness and fresh acidity. The bouquet is rich and fresh: ripe pear, white peach, melon and quince, with a fine floral note and hints of honey. The palate is rounded and harmonious, with ripe fruit, honey and white flowers leading into a long, gently sweet finish edged with citrus. Serve chilled at 10–12 °C, including as an aperitif. It pairs with fresh, soft cheeses — mozzarella, ricotta, goat cheese — with fruit salads and desserts of peach and pear, with plain pastries, and with Asian dishes in sweet-and-sour sauce. Use a classic medium-sized white wine glass with a tapering bowl.
