Don Julio Blanco is a Mexican tequila made from 100% hand-harvested blue agave in the highlands of Jalisco, following Don Julio González's methods. Unaged, it lets the clean character of the terroir come through. The colour is crystal clear. On the nose, sweet roasted agave, fresh citrus — lime and grapefruit — and light herbal accents. The palate is silky, soft and balanced, with juicy agave, white pepper and fruit nuances. The finish is clean, long and bracing. Serve chilled in tasting glasses or traditional shot glasses. It rewards unhurried sipping and makes a fine base for a Margarita or Paloma.
