Château Moulin Bellegrave Saint-Émilion Grand Cru «L'Ancestral» 2022 is a dry red from the Bordeaux appellation of Saint-Émilion Grand Cru. The blend is led by Merlot with Cabernet Franc; the Grand Cru classification means strict control of terroir and quality. The bouquet is deep and concentrated: ripe blueberry, blackberry, juicy plum and blackcurrant, followed by leather, truffle, cedar, roasted coffee bean and dark chocolate. The palate is full-bodied and velvety, with rounded tannins, clear structure and a long, warming, spiced finish. Pairs with prime steaks — ribeye, filet mignon — grilled rack of lamb and roast beef, roast duck breast and game stews. For cheese, choose aged Gouda, Parmesan and Gruyère, or Roquefort. Serve at 16–18 °C, decanting 45–60 minutes beforehand.
