Bayou Single Batch

Description

Bayou Single Batch is a limited craft rum made at the Louisiana Spirits distillery in Lacassine from local sugar cane and finished in red wine casks. On the nose, oak, ripe prune, red forest berries and light tannic nuances. The palate is rich and balanced, with dried fruit, winey tones, spice and earthy notes. The finish is long and round, with berries and toasted oak. Sip it slowly from a rocks glass or a tulip glass, giving it a couple of minutes to open; a few drops of water or one large cube soften it. It pairs with dark chocolate, truffles, berry desserts, black coffee and a cigar.
