Tenuta San Marco Chardonnay Salento is an Italian dry white wine from the Salento area of Puglia. The aroma is rich and fresh, with tones of ripe yellow apple, juicy pear and white flowers and light citrus nuances. The taste is round and refreshing, with a pleasant minerality, a soft texture and a clean, harmonious finish. Serve it chilled to 10–12 °C in a classic white wine glass with a tulip bowl that narrows towards the rim. It goes with baked white fish, grilled salmon, prawns, mussels, fish tartare and pâtés, with chicken breast, turkey in cream sauce and roast duck breast, with soft goat's and young creamy cheeses such as mozzarella and ricotta, and with pasta in a seafood or creamy mushroom sauce and a classic risotto.
