St. Dalfour: Orange Jam with Ginger (No Added Sugar)

Description

St. Dalfour is a French jam of ripe oranges with a warming note of ginger, made with no added sugar. The jar holds fruit and juice only: no cane sugar, no preservatives, no artificial colours. The sweetness comes from concentrated grape juice. The taste is bright and citrusy, with the light bitterness of orange turning into a warm ginger finish. Visible pieces of orange peel give the jam a thick, lively texture. It is good on crisp toast, a croissant or in porridge alongside the morning coffee; it tops pancakes, goes into yoghurt and curd cheese and serves as a filling for baking.
