Description

Lamelle Toscana IGT is a dry white wine from Tuscany, made from 100% Chardonnay by the Ferragamo family's Il Borro estate. Elegant, fresh and mineral, without heavy oak ageing: the emphasis is on the purity of the terroir. The nose is clean and multifaceted: white flowers, crisp green apple, ripe pear, citrus and light mineral tones with a saline edge. On the palate it is balanced and refreshing, with lively acidity, a silky texture and a long mineral, citrus finish. Serve well chilled at 8–10 °C. It pairs with oysters and scallops, grilled prawns, refined white fish dishes, sushi and light fish tartare, and young goat cheeses.
