Lambrusco Delizia Rosso Amabile Lebovitz is an Italian red semi-sweet frizzante wine from the province of Mantua, on the border of Lombardy and Emilia-Romagna. Its soft, gentle fizz and moderate alcohol make it light and easy to drink. The aroma is juicy and fruit-driven: ripe cherry, blackcurrant, forest raspberry and blackberry, with light floral nuances. The palate is rounded and moderately sweet, with fresh acidity that keeps the sweetness in check and a soft fruity finish. Serve lightly chilled at 10–12 °C in a standard red wine glass; a narrow flute is not needed here. Classic matches are pizza, pasta with meat sauces and lasagne, Italian antipasti, prosciutto and salami, grilled meats, and on the sweet side berry pies and simple chocolate desserts.
