François Martenot Crémant de Bourgogne Brut 2023 is a French dry sparkling wine from Burgundy (Crémant de Bourgogne AOC), made by the traditional method with ageing on the lees. The grapes are the region's classics, mainly Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The nose is fresh and harmonious: ripe citrus such as lemon and lime, white flowers, green apple and delicate hints of brioche and almond. On the palate it is clean and balanced, with a creamy texture, a fine persistent perlage and a long mineral finish. Serve well chilled at 6–8 °C in narrow sparkling glasses. It works as an aperitif and pairs with oysters, scallops and prawns, fine white fish, sushi, canapés and poultry in a cream sauce.
