El Castilla Syrah 2024 is a Spanish dry red from Castilla, 100% Syrah from the 2024 harvest. The style is modern: fruit-forward, open and easy to drink. The nose is bright and expressive, led by ripe blackcurrant, blackberry, blueberry and cherry. Syrah's signature ground black pepper and warm spice are joined by violet and a light chocolate-and-cream note. The palate is rounded and velvety, with soft tannins, pleasant fruit sweetness and a juicy, spiced finish. Pairs with grilled meat — steaks, burgers, pork ribs, kebabs and grilled sausages — with Spanish tapas, jamón and salami, and with meat pizza and pasta bolognese. For cheese, choose aged Manchego, Cheddar or Edam. Serve at 15–17 °C; the wine drinks well straight after opening.
