Domaine de la Madone Picpoul de Pinet is a French dry white wine from the Picpoul de Pinet appellation in the Languedoc, made from the native Picpoul grape. Crisp, light and bracing, with a maritime character and citrus freshness. The nose is clean and intense: green apple, lemon and lime, white flowers and the variety's characteristic mineral, saline nuances. On the palate it is dry and drinkable, with high but harmonious acidity, a light body and a tonic finish. This is a classic partner for the sea: serve it well chilled at 8–10 °C with fresh oysters, mussels and clams, prawns, grilled white fish and light vegetable salads.
