An elegant, fresh white from Piedmont. Gavi, often called «the white king of Piedmont», is made exclusively from Cortese grown on the hills around the town of Gavi. Aroma: The bouquet unfolds in delicate notes of white flowers, citrus and green apple, with subtle mineral shades. Taste: Crisp, dry and refreshing, with pleasant acidity and a light almond finish. At the table: A splendid aperitif. Ideal with light appetisers, seafood, white fish and soft goat cheeses.
