Aksakovskaya is a vodka built on high-quality Alpha-class grain spirit that has been through multi-stage purification. The recipe includes an aromatic caramel-malt spirit, which lends the drink fine bready-caramel nuances. It is 40% ABV. The nose is led by clean grain and soft malt, with minimal alcoholic sharpness. The texture is velvety and the finish warming, without any harsh burn. Serve chilled at 6–8 °C: freezing it hard hides the delicate malt aroma. Use small 30–50 ml shot glasses. The vodka carries a traditional table well — lightly salted salmon, salo with mustard, marinated mushrooms and pickled cucumbers, fish soup and solyanka, pelmeni with sour cream, game and hot meat from the coals, black and red caviar.
