Zonin Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Extra Dry comes from the very heart of Prosecco country. The Glera is grown on the hills between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The aroma is refined: ripe white fruit, wisteria and acacia blossom. The palate is fresh and harmonious, with the pleasant sweetness of the Extra Dry category and a delicate perlage. Serve well chilled at 6–8 °C in a tulip glass, which suits DOCG wines better, or in a flute. It pairs with caviar canapés, prawn tartlets and salmon bruschetta, herb-baked sea bass and scallops, soft young cheeses such as stracciatella and burrata, and light fruit desserts.
