Vermentino Poggio Marù

Description

Vermentino Poggio Marù is an Italian dry white wine from Tuscany (Toscana IGT), made from the native Vermentino grape, which conveys the character of the Mediterranean coast precisely. Aromatic, mineral and bracing. The nose weaves ripe citrus (grapefruit, lime, lemon) with white flowers such as acacia and hawthorn, hints of pineapple and passion fruit, light herbal nuances and fine minerality. On the palate it is rounded and elegant, with lively acidity and a long, clean finish that closes on a pleasant bitter note. Serve well chilled at 8–10 °C. It pairs with prawns, mussels and oysters, grilled white fish, seafood pasta, vegetable salads and young soft cheeses.
