Description

Torres 10 (Reserva Imperial) is a Spanish brandy with an aged, deep character and a long history. The aroma is rich and warm, with clear notes of spice — cinnamon and vanilla — dried fruit and a light woody touch of oak. The taste is intense, round and full: oak tannins balanced by sweetish spiced nuances that carry into a long, warming finish. Neat, the brandy is served at room temperature in a snifter or a classic brandy glass: narrowing towards the rim, it gathers the complex aroma and lets the bouquet open. A few large ice cubes refresh it and soften the profile, and in mixes Torres 10 holds up with good cola, ginger ale and in premium versions of classic cocktails. At the table it goes with dark bitter chocolate, truffles, nut pastries and caramel desserts, as well as prunes, dried apricots, figs and ripe pears; the classic digestif pairing is a glass of Torres 10, a cup of strong black coffee and a good cigar.
