Description

The Balvenie 14 YO Caribbean Cask is a Speyside single malt Scotch. Fourteen years in traditional oak followed by a final maturation in Caribbean rum casks give it tropical sweetness and depth. The colour is deep golden amber. On the nose, ripe fruit, toffee, vanilla and light exotic spice. The palate is round, velvety and soft, with tropical fruit, creamy caramel and warming spice. The finish is long and warm. Serve at room temperature in a tulip glass (Glencairn) or a snifter. It pairs with tropical fruit desserts, good chocolate, nuts or a cigar.
