Description
Penfolds Max's Chardonnay 2019 is a dry white from the cool Adelaide Hills in Australia, named after the winemaker Max Schubert. The palate is full-bodied and rich: ripe peach, citrus, vanilla, nuts and a soft creamy note left by ageing. Serve at 10–12 °C in a large glass with a wide bowl. Pairings to match its weight — roast salmon, halibut steak, scallops in cream sauce, herbed chicken, porcini risotto and aged cheeses.
