Description

Marquês de Lara Vinho Verde DOC is a Portuguese semi-dry white from the Vinho Verde region, with the area's delicate natural spritz. Light, crisp and aromatic, low in alcohol, with a citrus-driven fruit character. The nose is led by ripe citrus — lime and lemon — followed by green apple, white flowers and light mineral nuances. On the palate it is light and drinkable, with refreshing acidity, soft sweetness and a gentle tingle of bubbles. Serve well chilled at 8–10 °C. It pairs with prawns, mussels and oysters, grilled white fish, fresh vegetable salads, tapas and sushi.
