La Pettegola Vermentino Toscana IGT by Banfi is an Italian dry white wine from Tuscany, made from 100% Vermentino. Aromatic, mineral and bracing, with a pronounced Mediterranean character. On the nose ripe citrus — grapefruit and lemon — leads, followed by white flowers, exotic fruit such as passion fruit and pineapple, and light herbal nuances. On the palate it is fresh and elegant, with lively acidity, a mineral texture and a long citrus-driven finish. Serve well chilled at 8–10 °C. It pairs with grilled prawns, mussels in white wine and oysters, baked sea bass or bream, vegetable salads and carpaccio, as well as sushi.
