Description

Jura 12 Years Old 'Special Edition' is a single malt Scotch from the island of Jura, off Scotland's west coast. The spirit first matures in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, then finishes in Oloroso sherry casks. The colour is amber gold with copper lights. On the nose, fine smoke weaves through honey, ripe fruit and spice. The palate is rich, round and balanced, with sherry sweetness, vanilla, citrus and a delicate peat smoke. The finish is long and warming. Serve at room temperature in a tasting glass or one of the rocks glasses included in this gift set; a few drops of still water open the bouquet. It pairs with chocolate, nuts, dried fruit and ripe peaches.
