Jose Cuervo Especial Silver is a Mexican silver tequila from Jalisco, made by the oldest producer in the world. It is built on blue agave juice and sees no oak, so it keeps its freshness and vegetal character. The colour is crystal clear. The nose is led by freshly cut blue agave, citrus and light spice. The palate is clean, refreshing and slightly dry, with sweetish agave, white pepper and herbal accents. The finish is short and bracing. Serve chilled in narrow caballito glasses or in a rocks glass. It works with the classic salt-and-lime ritual and as a base for a Margarita or Tequila Sunrise.
