Glenmorangie The Original 10 Years Old is a Highland single malt Scotch and a benchmark for softness. It is distilled in the tallest copper stills in Scotland, so only the lightest, cleanest vapours make it through, then aged ten years in first- and second-fill American bourbon casks. The colour is golden honey. On the nose, sweet citrus, juicy peach, vanilla and floral honey. The palate is silky, round and balanced, with ripe fruit, toffee, creamy vanilla and light spice. The finish is clean and long, with orange and peach juice. Serve at room temperature in a tulip glass or a tasting rocks glass; a few drops of still water open the bouquet. It pairs with light desserts, fresh fruit and nuts.
