Glenmorangie 15 Years Old "The Lasanta"

Description

Glenmorangie 15 Years Old 'The Lasanta' is a Highland single malt Scotch finished in Spanish Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Distillation in the tallest stills in Scotland gives it clarity; the sherry finish gives it velvety depth. The colour is amber-copper with golden lights. On the nose, ripe raisin, baked orange, walnut and toffee. The palate is generous and enveloping, with sweet spice, chocolate truffle and honeyed raisin. The finish is long and warming, with spice and citrus peel. Serve at room temperature in a tulip glass or a tasting rocks glass; a few drops of water open the bouquet. It pairs with dark chocolate desserts, dried fruit and a good cigar.
