Description

Glenfiddich 18 YO Small Batch Reserve is a single malt Scotch aged at least 18 years in American bourbon and Spanish Oloroso sherry casks, then married in small batches — hence its cohesion. The colour is deep amber gold. On the nose, ripe apple, citrus, dried fruit, cinnamon and oak. The palate is round and velvety, with baked apple, cinnamon, dates and toffee. The finish is long, warm and dry, with a spiced trail. Best neat as a digestif at room temperature, from a tulip glass (Glencairn) or a snifter. It pairs with aged cheeses, dark chocolate or a cigar.
