Description
Espolòn Tequila Reposado is a Mexican tequila made from 100% blue Weber agave in the highlands of Jalisco. At least two months in American oak give it a soft character and a golden hue. The colour is golden amber. The nose is warm: spice, caramel fudge and roasted agave. The palate is bold, round and full-bodied, with ripe agave, tropical fruit, vanilla and brown spice. The finish is long, warming and spiced. Drink it neat from narrow caballito glasses or tasting glasses. It pairs with Mexican dishes — tacos, enchiladas, spiced ceviche — grilled meat and dark chocolate, and makes a fine base for a Margarita or Paloma.
