Coral Reef Pinot Grigio is a dry white from Australia, made entirely from Pinot Grigio. It is built in the New World style, with the emphasis on juicy fruit and lightness; the name and label take their cue from coral reefs. The nose is intense and fresh: ripe green apple, juicy pear, white peach and citrus with fine tropical nuances. The palate is harmonious, rounded and light, with lively refreshing acidity, a balanced texture and a clean fruit finish. Pairs with grilled prawns, mussels, squid, oysters and scallops, with baked sea bream or sea bass, sushi and rolls, and with lightly dressed vegetable salads and Asian dishes. For cheese, choose young soft and goat's styles. Serve at 8–10 °C.
