Description
Bacardí Spiced is a rum-based spiced spirit drink at 35%. It is made from a blend of aged and unaged rum distillates matured in charred American white oak, with natural spices, vanilla and honey added. The nose is rich and warm: sweet vanilla, caramel, cinnamon and a light woody smoke. The palate is soft and balanced, with spice, baked apple, toffee and a gentle heat at the close. The finish is long, with a sweet-spiced trail. Drink it neat from a rocks glass or over ice, which softens it further. It works in long drinks with cola and a wedge of lime or with ginger ale, and at the table with chocolate desserts, cinnamon and nut pastries, or a cigar.
